New Zion Hill Baptist Church

Mission Statement

The mission of the New Zion Hill Baptist Church is to advance the Kingdom of God by following the Great Commission of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to preach, teach, evangelize the lost and edify the body of Christ.

Knowing that every member is expected to give of their time, talents and treasures, this church seeks to accomplish its mission by focusing on three important objectives:

Seek the Lost: Through outreach and evangelistic efforts in our homes, the community and the world at large,  we seek to discover those who are without a saving relationship with Jesus Christ and  help them to know Christ as their personal Savior and Lord.

Nurture the Saved: Through our various age based and relational ministries, classes, workshops, we desire to see those who have been saved grow and develop into fully mature followers of Jesus Christ.

Edify the Body: Every believer should go into this world with the Gospel in hand. Every member is expected to give of their time, talents, and treasures for the ongoing ministries of the church. Members are expected to serve in their giftedness and calling within a ministry of the church. They are also expected to be active in personal evangelism in their neighborhood and community coupled with a heart and active passion to help in carrying the message of salvation through missions around the world.
